About Dr. Lujie Song

Dr. Song received his PhD in Urology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He has undertaken international academic and clinical training at the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, the Department of Urology at the University of California, San Francisco, and the Department of Urology at University College London. He currently serves as a doctoral supervisor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.

His clinical philosophy emphasizes precise anatomical assessment, preservation of urethral blood supply when feasible, and functional reconstruction rather than simply restoring luminal continuity. In addition to open reconstructive surgery, he is actively developing research and clinical strategies involving robotic reconstruction, imaging-based decision-making, and translational platforms for urethral disease.

Clinical Expertise

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.
Urethral Stricture Disease

Comprehensive evaluation and surgical reconstruction for anterior and posterior urethral strictures, including bulbar, penile, panurethral, and recurrent strictures.

Pelvic Fracture Urethral Injury

Specialized management of pelvic fracture urethral injury and posterior urethral stenosis, with expertise in complex perineal and vessel-sparing reconstructive techniques.

Complex Urinary Fistula Repair

Repair of urethrorectal fistula, urethrocutaneous fistula, and complex recurrent urinary fistulas using individualized tissue interposition and reconstructive strategies.

Lichen Sclerosus-related Urethral Disease

Clinical and translational research-driven management of male genital lichen sclerosus and associated urethral stricture disease.

Post-hypospadias Urethral Complications

Reconstruction for adult patients with failed hypospadias repair, long-segment urethral stricture, chordee, fistula, and recurrent urethral complications.

Lower Urinary Tract Reconstruction

Management of bladder neck stenosis, vesicourethral anastomotic stenosis, urinary incontinence, and complex lower urinary tract complications.
